Ambassadors' Report

I am committed to the GHI mission and, as GHI’s Ambassador to Spain, I plan to contribute in a number of ways to achieve GHI’s objectives. I will promote, represent and support GHI in Spain by disseminating GHI activities and publications to Spanish food scientists, regulators, students, professional associations and institutional bodies through in-person meetings, presentations at scientific events, publications and translation of GHI documents to Spanish.


I participate in the GHI meetings organized together with scientific meetings, such as EFFoST and the IFT Annual Meeting. I was in charge of the organization of the meeting that took place in combination with the 20th International Congress of Nutrition, in Granada, 2013, and was one of the authors of a presentation given in that Congress together with the GHI president, entitled “Global nutrient security and nutrient bioavailability.”
