As GHI Ambassador for Georgia, I intend to disseminate information about GHI objectives, activities, events and resources locally to stakeholders: scientists, professors, students, regulatory and control authorities, food producers and consumers in order to help harmonize standards and regulations on food and to encourage their participation in GHI Initiatives. I make presentations that include information about GHI at national and international conferences and meetings, as well as in university lectures.

I consider the Global Harmonization Initiative (GHI) to be an excellent tool for reducing world hunger, increasing the availability of safe and high-quality food, preventing foodborne diseases, promoting technological innovation, eliminating trade barriers, and facilitating effective international trade.
As the GHI Ambassador in Georgia, my goal is to promote the philosophy of GHI among stakeholders and serve as a bridge between scientific communities, policymakers, regulatory authorities, industry stakeholders, and consumers, working collaboratively to ensure the development of science-based food safety policies and regulations that are harmonized with global best practices.
