Ambassador’s Report

My primary professional goal in Oman is to transform the Global Harmonization Initiative’s (GHI) mandate into tangible improvements in public health. I aim to achieve this by leveraging my expertise as a dietitian, specifically by developing clear communication strategies for students' mothers, making food safety and labeling standards easy to understand while promoting healthy choices. To support this effort, I have established a "Food Safety Club" to provide nutrition education in schools. I believe that enhancing public health protection and empowering consumers can be achieved by standardizing food labels, enabling people to make informed nutritional choices. Ultimately, I hope to use this experience as a stepping stone to becoming a Regional Leader in Humanitarian Food Security and Nutrition Policy, where I can apply my skills in the Sudan region.

I will focus on implementing the nutritional education program and engaging directly with the community, by regular meetings with school principals within 5–7 schools. Then, I will deliver an initial presentation titled “The Dual Role of the Mother: Regulator and Nutritionist”, first to school leaders and then to the wider community through a session held at a school or community center.
